Twin Cities-based drummer, composer, and producer BOB BEAHEN boasts a diverse musical portfolio in jazz, musical theater, world-percussion, folk, and pop-rock. A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Drum Set Performance, Beahen has a wide array of experience in everything from music direction and performance for local musical theater productions, to private drum and percussion instruction, to producing original and contracted compositions from his home studio.
Whether touring nationally as a percussionist for Jenny Lewis and The Decemberists (and occasionally Paul Simon), studying with drum greats like Dave DiCenso, Mike Mangini, and Mark Guiliana, or working with notable brands like All-City Cycles and Peacock TV, Beahen is a staple of regional and national multi-instrumental needs.
